Different norms apply according to different countries, markets and types of applications: construction industry, automobile, rail, and aeronautics... Standards (Euroclasses, FMVSS 302, D451333, NFF 16101, FAR, ...)  regarding smoke toxicity aim to measure the level of products flammability.
